Time for some classic figures! Here we have the Captain America in his iconic costume from the 2-pack from the Toybiz Face-off series. The masked Cap comes with Red skull and the Unmasked Cap comes with Baron von Strucker. They are widely referred to as Face-off Captain America.
The masked Captain America figure has been a placeholder for this character in the Marvel, with most people agreeing that it is the best Captain America figure in this costume, at least till the arrival of the 80th Anniversary Captain America (<==click on link to check out the differences!). I prefer the 80th Anniversary Captain America, but I’m sure there are plenty of people who still prefer the Toybiz Face-off Cap.

Even though it has always been regarded as the best Captain America figure, I find that the anatomy of the figure to be unproportionate. The trapezius (shoulder muscle) of the figure seems oversized for the figure to me.
Another things about this figure is that I’ve come across some which has a discoloured torso. You can see above that my unmasked Face-off Cap has that problem; the blue has darkened and become dark greenish blue which is distinctly different from the blue on the rest of the body.

The figure is comic accurate to me. The only thing is that I feel most of the time Captain America is drawn without the pouches on the belt, but having the pouches there on the figure is fine. It doesn’t make the figure look weird or anything. I like the head sculpt, though I feel it is slightly small for the figure.

The unmasked variant is exactly the same figure except for the head. To me, both the masked and unmasked head looks a bit small on the figure, but the unmasked head looks especially smaller, probably because of the mask hanging around his neck.
The unmasked Cap that I got has discolouration on the torso. I think it’s quite a common problem for this figure as I’ve seen a few of them.
The two figures are exactly the same except for the head.
I thought the masked head sculpt is great. The unmasked head looks kinda small on the body mold.

It really is a matter of preference between Toybiz Face-off Captain America and the Hasbro 80th Anniversary Captain America. Although I prefer the colour scheme on the Face-off Cap, I prefer the Hasbro Cap overall. You can check out their comparison here.
Between the two variants, I definitely prefer the masked variant.
Above are the Toybiz Face-off Captain America on the left, and Toybiz Ultimate Captain America variants on the right. They use the same body mold with that overly huge trapezius.
