The Figures

Here we have the Okoye wave Blackbolt (2018) and SDCC Thanos Imperative Boxset Blackbolt (2014). The rereleased figure has the same body mold, but comes with 2 heads and are different in colour.

The Okoye Blackbolt is dark blue whereas the SDCC Blackbolt is black. The zig zag silver pattern of the costume is also slightly different.

Back view of the figure. You can see the difference in the silver zig zag pattern. Not an important difference though. The wings are exactly the same. It uses the Bucky Cap mold.

The paintwork and lines are quite good, it’s hard to find a figure with bad lines or paintwork.

Differences

The Okoye Blackbolt comes with a calm head and a screaming head. The Okoye Blackbolt calm head has a bigger fork on his head.

The screaming head is an awesome alternate expression. It opens up many possibilities for different poses.

TL;DR

Okoye BAF Wave Blackbolt:

+ Alternate head

+ Dark blue paintwork

+ Silver zigzag pattern on costume slightly different

SDCC Thanos Imperative Boxset:

+ Black paintwork

+ Silver zigzag pattern on costume slightly different

– No alternate head

My Verdict

Just for the alternate screaming head, you should get the Okoye Blackbolt instead of the SDCC Blackbolt. It’s easier to find anyways, in my opinion.

All hail the Inhuman King!
