The Figures
Left: Hasbro Apocalypse BAF Wave Psylocke Right: Toybiz Mojo BAF Wave Psylocke
I shall not explain much. Just by looking at the 2 figures, you can see which one is better. Heh.
The Hasbro Psylocke comes with a sword, sword effect, one hand blast effect and psychic effect for the head. Toybiz Psylocke has nothing. Just the figure. Both come with their respective BAF parts (not pictured).

Differences
Lets start from the top. The head sculpt is a hundred times better for Hasbro Psylocke. Body mold is also superior, although the only downside of most of the new Hasbro female body mold is the lack of double-jointed hinge join for the elbows. One thing to note though is that you gotta pick the figure with the nicer paintwork. You can see my Hasbro Psylocke does not have a clean line of purple for her ‘clothing’ on her right shoulder in the picture above. Some people may be fine with this, but for me, I’m irked by this sort of visible minor flaws. Hasbro Psylocke is also taller.
The red waist band is awkward for the Toybiz Psylocke; it doesn’t flow down. You can see that Hasbro Psylocke is way nicer. And those droopy Toybiz butt cheeks, damn. The Toybiz Psylocke also has a hole at the back; it’s meant for the Toybiz stand that comes with selected Toybiz figures back then.
TL;DR
Hasbro Psylocke:
– way better body mold
– better head sculpt
– plenty of weapons/accessories
– red waistband flows down correctly
Toybiz Psylocke:
– nonsense, just like other female Toybiz characters
My Verdict
Also, there’s a variant Hasbro Psylocke, which I will talk about in the next post. Not much difference, just a slight variation in colour.
